celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on February 2, 2004!
Ben Briscoe Born to Benjamin E.
Briscoe,
Sr. and Ruth (Hollingsworth) Briscoe, in Ben married Wilma Bussey in 1944. She also attended Indiana
University Ben retired from teaching in 1977 and went into the real estate business. Today
Ben works with a university, teaching graduate students who are (See below for a list of just a few of Ben's lifetime achievements.)
Ben and his wife, Wilma, accepting presentation of the Hiram Award from the Masonic Lodge for his work on college scholarships for high school students.
Ben with his cowpony, Blackie. Blackie was a Morgan and had a lot of heart.
Known as the "Flying Educator," Ben flew all over Central California giving talks for the California Teachers Association and the N.E.A. Ben also has a commercial pilot's license.
