It has been a while since I checked in.  I loved the pictures of the campus.  It brought back some good memories of when I worked on the campus (summer 1977) with Don Yarnell. Don was the campus electrician and plumber at the time. I was a student in the ICT program and Don was my mentor and boss. One of my weekly tasks was winding the Arsenal Tower clock. Since graduation,  I have completed an apprenticeship to become a journeyman electrician, completed my BS in electrical engineering at Purdue, and am still working at Eli Lilly and Company where I started as a Tech Coop student in highschool (1978). I am currently leading the Antibiotic Purification Business Unit at Lilly's Tippecanoe Laboratories in Lafayette Indiana. I'm still not sure how that fits with electricity???.

I graduated from Tech in '82 and followed a long line of Tech male grads to Wabash College AND the FIJI house.  After graduating from Wabash in '86, I was selected as a Governor's Fellow by then Governor Robert D. Orr.  After the year-long fellowship program, Bob Orr hired me to work in the Governor's office, first as an advance man and then as his scheduler.  I started law school at night at I.U.-Indpls., and while I was going to law school, I clerked for the Simon legal department, clerked at the U.S. Attorney's office, worked as a staffer on the Bill Hudnut campaign for Secretary of State in 1990, lobbied on behalf of trucking deregulation, and worked as an Executive Assistant in the City of Indianapolis Mayor's office under Hudnut. 

After graduating from law school in 1991, I clerked at the Indiana Court of Appeals for Judge Chezem for nearly two years.  I was drawn back into politics to work as Steve Goldsmith's campaign director for two years before going to work as a deputy prosecutor in the Marion Co. Prosecutor's office in 1995.  After one year there, I started my own law office where I currently toil.  Most of my practice deals with criminal defense, some family law, some estate, and some small business work for some old friends on the eastside of Indy.

I miss the teachers who have left us like Eileen Kohut (much too young) and Alice Goodrum (much too talented), but I still see Anna Parker and John Hall from time to time and consider them friends.  I also hear about our guidance counselor, Nancy Sutton, through a mutual friend.  She has moved to Colorado.

My maiden name was Kimberlie Kemper and I graduated from ATHS in 1986. I am the 2nd generation to graduate from ATHS and would love hear from anyone who might remember me (only attended senior year) but mostly from anyone who knew my parents and can maybe share some good gossip about them as teenagers....lol

My fathers name is Robert L. Kemper and graduated class of 1968. His sfamily lived on N Randolph St and has 3 brothers: Ronny, Mike and Eugene. My mother is Christine A. Eland (maiden name). She did not graduate (my fault...SURPRISE!!) but she would have been in the class of 1969 I think. Her family lived at the corner of New York and Hamilton. Her brothers and sisters are: Wally, Bill, John, Joe and Joanie. They were married until I was 2. They are both alive and well but I would love to stir up some old memories. "I graduated Tech in '94. Attended Ball State University for a year. I then
worked full-time as a landscaper for a year and a half.  I realized I wasn't
satisfied with work nor did I have the patience for school at the time so I
enlisted in the United States Navy... Hoo-rah!  Best move I made.  I arrived
at boot camp 06 Jan 98 and graduated 3 months later.  Day of graduation I
transfer to my first duty station just down the road... my "A" school...
Naval Hospital Corps School.  14 weeks later, I became a Hospital Corpsman
(medic).  After 2 months of temporary duty at the Naval Hospital,
Portsmouth, VA, I moved on to Field Medical Service School in Jacksonville,
NC.  Currently, I am a Hostial Corpsman Petty Officer Third Class serving
with the U.S.Marines (the Navy provides Marines with medical coverage) at
Camp LeJeune, NC.  Hoo-Rah Tech!"

I graduated in '98 and went directly to IU through the GROUPS program.  I
received a full years credit, then post-poned college to check out the
traveling style.  I moved to Florida for 6 months, then came back home,
where I have been working ever since at Brylane in the Internet Customer
Service Support Team, wishfully awaiting that big promotion.
